Ice Cream Social at AirVenture Oshkosh - Oshkosh, WI (KOSH) - Monday - July 21, 2025

Join us for our annual ice cream social meet and greet to kick off the start of AirVenture 2025. We will meet on the North side of the Vintage Aircraft Association’s Red Barn at 1:00pm CDT. About 1:30pm CDT after exchanging pleasantries we will walk over to one the A&W Root Beer stands. This one is located along the flight line. It is listed as A&W – Classic Concession (L-12). I will be there! Again!

You have undoubtedly heard of vegetarians. And their stricter friends, vegans. I'm a freegan, I can only eat food that is free!.

99% chance. 2 maybe 3 attending. I hope to have one of the grands with me at oshkosh this year.
 
Sounds like a plan; I’ll be there with 10 of our Aviation Explorer Scout Post 120 group from Carlsbad/Palomar airport in California. If you happen to have an extra dollops or two of this frozen kind of happiness, I’m sure our youth would be happy to partake.

Dwane, bring the young Aviation Explorer Scouts on over to the Ice Creme Social. I'm sure the Beech Aero Club members would love to talk aviation with them over a bowl of Ice Creme.
 
My son Zach and I will be attending AirVenture this year, also with the Aviation Explorers (Post 352, Mesa AZ). We won't be taking our Sundowner this year, hopefully next year! Unfortunately, we're planning on attending a forum from 1:00 to 2:30 Monday afternoon. 😑 Maybe we can make the picnic.

It will depend on our volunteering schedule. Watch for the hat on the taxiways near show center.
