Greenwood Lake Airport - New Jersey (4N1)

This airport has a rich history and sits at the South End of Greenwood Lake, which is half in New York and half in New Jersey.

My calendar appears clear on the 15th. As long as Bob Kittine guarantees the weather... count me in!

Can't guarantee until we get a lot closer, but will have a Check List for you if you still want one.

Hopefully Saba can make it though it won’t be in his airplane which will still be in the shop. Gordon’s 23 will be on the field but may not be out of its annual at that point. But it will be available to be seen, as I think Gordon will also. Unfortunately Donovan can no longer solo at this point, but we should be flying dual as he ramps up to take his private pilot check ride.

We closed on the 23 yesterday, it's yet to be determined if the annual and other work will be finished before the 15th. In any case I will be there for the hat and shirt!

I will make sure that I have a musketeer hat for you with me that day. I’m sure that Robert Staab will also have beach bum shirts for those who attend and don’t yet have one looking forward to seeing you as well as to fly with you again.

Has anyone made a hat with just the Musketeer cut on it? I think that will be big seller. It is almost meaningless to those who do not know. And for others, it will be a conversation starter.

Les,
There is a BAC hat out there with just the logo in the front. It was gifted at a BACFest in Brandon, Missouri by Viviane and Norris Hibbler of Aircraft Marine Assurance who have been insurance agent for many of us since club formation in 2004.
That's a picture of Harry S. Truman wearing the hat.

It is possible to order hats one-at-a-time at many vendors.
All you need is the logo in the correct format and the "OK" from the BAC Art Director... and fifteen to twenty bucks.

btw: I spoke to both Viviane and Norris a few days ago when I was renewing my Sundowner insurance. They are both doing well and are generally healthy and happy. They send their regards to BACers.

I have two of the ones with the BAC logo on it. I was speaking about the image ("cut") of the actual musketeer with the cape and fancy hat. Like the image that was painted on the side of the museum plane.

I have been with Norris and later Viviane for 20 years, and use her for both airplanes.

Got it. Our Musketeer Hats are less functional, but do get lots of questions about them.

I got one of those through Jeff
I have one of those from BACfest 3 years ago. We should probably do a run or have them as a standard option for order.

I think that we have the vector art image file for the Musketeer art. We should be able to scale that for whatever.

And what we need for some Super III Owners is a hat or shirt with.

The new long range forecast is now calling for rain and snow at Greenwood Lake on the 15th. I will keep watching it as it gets closer.

Could switch to Saturday the 14th if that day continues to look better.

Either day works for me.

I cannot make Saturday. Please use the day that makes sense for safety.
