Beech Party Annual Fly In-Tullahoma, TN

Fred you can put it on the calendar and presto, it's a BAC event (and you get host Pres Trophy points)!

I have this on my calendar, but it is an 8 hour flight. Anyone in/near Colorado or on the path to KTHA from or through Colorado that would want to go/share?

Email pilotsoto-Francisco Soto he might fly to Denver to ride with you
He is now in Sacramento and retired

Hope we can get a great showing as we did last year for the Annual Beech Party Fly-In in Tullahoma, TN. As mentioned, previously, dates are 11-15 Oct at Tullahoma, Tennessee Municipal Airport (KTHA). Fred Culleton (FASTFRED) volunteered as the POC for the event. Unfortunately, I have another commitment that weekend. It's a beautiful venue with fantastic museum displays, seminars, tours and social events. For more details click on www.beechcraftheritagemuseum.org.

Last year we enjoyed a tour of the Jack Daniels distillery. My suggestion for this year would be the George A. Dickel & Co. Distillery, 1950 Cascade Hollow Rd, Tullahoma, TN 37388. Much smaller/quainter than JD, but a neat experience. Jean and I flew in early last year and checked it out. It's off the beaten path, so charge your GPS'! Tours are 9:00 to 4:30 Mon - Sat and 11:30 to 5:00 Sun.

We also convened for a BAC dinner, so I'll leave it up to Fred to coordinate that. Check the fly-in schedule of events to determine a convenient date.

Cheers,

Ok. Now that BACFEST 2017 is over ( but still not forgotten) it's time to think about Beech Party 2017 at Tullahoma (KTHA)
Would like to set up a lunch or dinner for all BAC attendees that does not interfere with Tullahoma's Events
So, a group lunch Saturday off field or a table at either Friday or Saturday nights awards that will be going on at site
Comments would be helpful and a rough count of those trying to attend would be helpful also
Or other suggestions
Short on time barely 2 weeks away

Fast Fred, Lisa and I will be attending again this year. We have paid for both lunches on Friday and Saturday. We are open to the idea of doing dinner off site either night. I was hoping those who fly in will do the pancake fly in breakfast on Saturday morning at Winchester,Tn. (KBGF). We are open for anything...just let us know. Standing by.

At this moment only you all and John Redmon have confirmed they are coming
Friday night and Saturday night Heritage Museum have awards dinner planned that I paid for since hasn’t been any response from anyone
When we see who all are coming we can try and get together for maybe lunch in town
As for fly out for breakfast — lets see if any response from your posting
Look forward to seeing you all
Fred

I will be attending. I have not registered yet waiting to see what everyone else was doing. I will probably do the lunches on site. I was thinking we would go off site for the evening meals as we did last year. I'm flexible. I plan to arrive on Friday morning or Thursday evening. Keep the discussion going or give me a call. You both have my cell number.

It is more for them to get a head count for meals etc. I preregistered several years ago and I was unable to make it. Low IFR the morning of departure and I did not feel like driving the 6 hours. Nor did I have enough time off work for the return trip. No refunds after a specified date. For this year that is today 9/30. You can register at the door upon arrival.

Was planning on being in Tullahoma tomorrow after lunch
But due to personal family illness might be postponed until later in week or possibly a no show
Waiting to hear from doctors before I fully cancel event

I arrived a few minutes ago. As Fred mentioned. If you are attending and you have not registered. Please contact me before doing so. First come first served.
