Good point and will their system recognise non - US Driving Licences……..

And will they require "real id"? Starting 5/7/25 the TSA says they will stop airline boarding if you don't have a real id (or passport).

The website doesnt say Driver's License, it says "personal identification" I assume that could also be a passport. Many factories I go to require proof of citizenship. Not sure Lycoming's purpose of ID.

Technically you dont need ID to board a domestic flight, but you will get super screened. I watched this play out one time and they allowed the person to board but the search was extensive.

We're working on the process both to collect the ID information and to provide some more background as to the requirements. Anything I could tell you right now would just be speculation. I hope to have more details in 3 weeks. Stay tuned.

I just made my reservations at the hotel for BACFest 2025. I wanted to provide plenty of time for any of you who can't stand being around me to back out.

My current plan is to make it a big road trip with a side airline ride to BACFest. I'm going to do a big loop from California to Wichita to Texas (visiting my kids along the way), park the car and fly (probably from Wichita) round trip to BACFest. Should get me out of the house for about three weeks.
