I showed up around 12:15pm. I met one guy that was based at Louisa that owned Two Super III’s, and a Sundowner. I kept asking where the Beech Aero club people were, and went to both the PIE hanger, and the main hanger an terminal building. I was never able to catch up with you guys. What time was this photo taken?
Also, there is a low time 1975 Sundowner there in a hanger with the wings off, and fuselage is striped for paint. Needs firewall forward. This would be a nice airframe to save. The owner does have the prop, and engine mount is still mounted to firewall.

I was the guy that raised my hand when you asked about BAC. We shook hands and I introduced myself, then I thought you went to check out the pies in the other hangar. I didn't see you come back to the main hangar where all the food was. I asked the lady that was doing all the paperwork but she hadn't seen you since you went to the pie hangar.
Hope to catch up for more airplane chat the next time. I appreciate you making the drive to meet up.

‘Definitely Gary. I went back and forth between the PIE hanger, and the main hanger and terminal building. I was hoping to network with fellow BAC’ers to help me find my next airplane. If anyone knows of a deal on an airplane that is not flying enough, let me know. Barry gave me a lead on a 1963 23 sitting on the ramp at KOMH with flat tires, so I left Louisa about 1:30pm and looked at it. Looks like it is a project airplane, and it has not flown for many years. It needs a lot of work. Looking for unadvertised deals...what are you seeing out there BAC? My budget is $15-20k

I was in the main hangar with my BEECH NUT T-Shirt and BAC hat so that I would be easy to spot. I guess it didn't work! I had one guy come up and ask about the pies that I had put out for the BAC so I asked him if he was with BAC (thinking it might be you) but he said no. I arrived at noon and Gary was there. You will definitely get credit for coming though. Maybe next time we can actually meet!
