Sorry I'm a bit late posting but we will have the annual BAC picnic again this year on Thursday July 26th at my campsite in Paul's Woods. Festivities will start at noon and will include the usual beer, soda, burgers, brats, etc. We ran out of food for the first time last year (probably because we held it a noon instead of mid-afternoon), and we won't let that happen again!

Directions: Follow East the pedestrian walkway to Paul's Woods. Continue to the Ditch and turn right. Follow the Ditch until you see the BAC tent. I'll post a map soon. The Big BAC tent will be up to help you find the spot!

All my stuff is out and ready to put into the plane, so planning on being at OSH this year. Problem is I have to leave before Thursday, so will be glad to see you guys and sorry to miss the picnic. Of course if we get weathered in you'll need more food...

Also sorry for the late reply as well, My wife and I will be there also. Mouse is down just now so will be driving up.

A fellow aviator alerted me that promo code OSH2018 will get you a 50% discount on Airventure admission tickets. I checked it and it works. The EAA member rate drops to $17/day or $63/week.

I had a detached retina repaired on Friday.
Big gas bubble in my left eye.
The doctor says no flying until the bubble is absorbed.
So we may join you in Camp Scholler this year.

We plan to be there Fri/Sun, returning Wed(pm)/Sun.
Will see you at the BAC picnic.

...and we're not going to make it. I've had a work thing come up the 24th and 25th that pretty much kill our plans for that week - plus Candy is probably out of town at least another week now. I'll try again next year - same goes for Sun-n-Fun.

Arrive as early as 11:00am CDT to do some hangar flying. Picnic will start at 12:00pm CDT. If you have portable chairs, you may want to bring them.

I'll be at OSH, but not likely to be there on Thu for the picnic. A friend is flying w/ me on Fri or Sat to ensure that we get into GA camping this year instead of being turned away due to it being full. We plan on flying back to Georgia on Wed or Thu morning.

Make it Friday AM and bring him to the picnic!
 
Andy and I will try to fly to KOSH on Thursday morning and get there in time for the picnic. As always, will see what the weather does.
