Hello and Good Afternoon Everyone,
Our next Southwest Region lunch fly-in will be Saturday, August 29th.
Gillespie Field KSEE, just east of San Diego will be our destination. The field has a nice cafe with outdoor seating. As part of this fly-in, we will also have a technical discussion when Marty Vanover demonstrates how to check and adjust the rigging on a Sundowner (time permitting, we may also install a 10# ABW).
Gillespie Flight Center has graciously agreed to host our discussion. For parking, KSEE has two transient ramps, limited parking at the cafe. Gillespie Flight Center may also be available depending on our numbers. I will provide shuttle service regardless.
For times, we will plan to meet for lunch at 1100, with the technical discussion following at 2PM. The San Diego area also offers a wide variety of food, museums, and other sights for anyone wishing to make it a longer weekend.
The member who flies the furthest, will receive a gift card for 10 gallons of 100LL
