Virginia Festival of Flight. April 30, May 1. Great Fly in event.

I plan to come over for the day on Saturday.......if I can find a medical certificate to occupy the other front seat.

Everyone remember to make a sign that says Beech Aero Club so that the linemen will know where to park you!
 
Remember also that I will have a grill, EZ up tent, table and chairs so anyone who is interested should bring something to throw on the grill Saturday evening!
 
It looks like work is conspiring against me and I won't be able to pick up my plane Friday as I'd hoped. (Getting a GTN-650 installed.) I won't make it to Suffolk but if you guys head over to first flight on Sunday I'll try to meet you there.
 
Dang - wish I could make this one - unfortunately my annual was delayed this year and my plane is in pieces... Have a good time folks...

Alan / Paul; I won't make it. Turns out I have damage to my cabin from the storms this week. Looks like I will be heading to Oklahoma instead. Sorry
 
It's looking like I might be able to make it around 2pm or so. I'll be coming by car (unfortunately). My 11 month old son will be in tow for his first fly-in. Come to think of it, it's my first fly-in too. Looking forward to meeting you guys. Frank

I'm also planning on coming over in the afternoon. Dropping off an Angel flight patient in Stafford at noonish, so I'll swing by on my way back to NC.
 
We had great weather for the weekend event topped off with a hop to First Flight airport and some great food at Dare Devil Pizza in Nags Head. Even had a "Big Beech" PT-6 converted Duke join us.
