Flight Levels
Summer is here and it's time to fly! I have listed a couple of events on the calendar and will list another in October as we get closer. First up is Saturday, July 20 for Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN (KGKT). This is a return to the site of BACFest 2009. We'll have lunch at The Apple Barn around noon and for anyone wanting to make it an overnight, rooms are available at The Oak Tree Lodge, http://www.theoaktreelodge.com/.
On Saturday, August 17, a return to Rough River State Park in Kentucky (2I3) is planned. We'll have lunch at noon at the lodge, which is a short walk from the airport that's located on the park property.
Following BACFest, in early October we'll visit Moonlite Barbecue in Owensboro, KY (KOWB) for another attack on their delicious buffet. I'll pick a definite Saturday as we get closer (leaning toward either the 5th or 12th).
