Toys For Tots, BAF, Mini-Fly-In?

Hey Northeasters,
We talked about quicky Mini-Fly-Ins. Here's an opportunity for one.
My home field, Barnes Field, Westfield, MA (BAF) is holding their annual Toys For Tots collection for the local Marine contingent. They are billing it as a Fly-In opportunity.
Hey, if we can get enough Mice there, maybe we can, sorta, hijack it for a good cause?
Entry fee is ONE NEW, UNWRAPPED, TOY. Snacks and beverages available at Fivet Star Jet Center and the Flight Deck Restaurant will be open. We are a towered field with an ILS and new pavement...'course that's why the Avgas is so high. But it's for a good cause!

Hi Mike,
This one is Saturday 12/16. Basically it goes on all day. (Most of the folks there will be home field types anyway.)
Like I said, this is not a BAC or MM sponsored event but, heck, it's a good cause and not a bad reason for our folks to get together.

Gotta bring a toy, though. Or we'll send you home for one! Or worse, get you a cab to go to Wally World in Westfield.

In January I will try to pull one together for Milford, NY (Greenwood Lake). I have to get down there to re-research an article for BAC-Talk. Got to talk to the folks down there first, though.

Greenwood Lake in January - now that's a destination I can get to even if the weather puts me in my car! BTW - 4N1 is in West Milford, NJ not NY.

Will try to make it to BAF on Saturday.
