Fly-in

Chris,

What a great turn-out. Thanks for suggesting that it occur and Mike, thank you for helping to put it on. thanks to all who came. I saw many names on the list of attendees form previous fly-ins and some new ones. I am sorry I could not make it, but happy the weather cooperated this morning to make it possible.

While you all were heading to Petaluma, I was heading for SFO and a flight to Dallas to return to work. I did not get left out entirely as I got to enjoy time with Chris and LeeAnne on Friday. Got to fly the Duchess too.

Hope to see all of you soon.

I want to say thanks to the folks that sponsored this event Mike, Chris and Leeann. It was nice to see familiar faces and great to meet new guys/gals. All the youngsters were fun to watch as they looked at every airplane moving. Obviously future pilots all !!
I hope to see everyone at BAC 2008-Bob

PS sorry to miss out on seeing Dan.

Carol and I also thank Mike, Chris and Leeanne for their setting up this fun event. I'd like to add that the folks at Two Niner Diner were very gracious as well, and their food hit the spot. I was even motivated to part with ten bucks for one of their t-shirts! Now that's inspiration, 'cuz I could have gotten about 1.8 gallons of avgas for that (O69 price).

This was certainly a great event for our first BAC fly-in. Nice folks, pretty planes and good flying. Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

It was a truly fun event, and a great time sharing stories, and looking at our airplanes. Chris you give me to much credit, I didn’t do that much, but you are very welcome for the help any time. I thank you very much as well!

I think a big THANK YOU is in order for Bob too, who went around to many of our airplanes with advice on squawk items. It is not often you have an A&P give away their time. I guess that makes him a very generous guy like Mike Rellihan. I don't under estimate this help, it so important Bob identified some safety factors for a number of us.

I look forward to next year as well. I will help again if you would like Dan and Chris, and happy to do so.

The Third Annual Wine Country Fly-In photos have been posted. I culled the shots taken and submitted by Kim Pedersen, Mike Samac and myself. If you attended the fly-in and have some shots and want to post them, then feel free to do so.

Enjoy!
