SW Region Fly-in: Las Vegas

I want to get a head count on folks interested in having a BAC fly in event staged in Las Vegas in late Aug or early Sept. It will be a weekend adventure. I'm thinking of some kind of family oriented dinner show on Sat evening. Any interest ?
 
Hi Bob!

Glad to see you pushing fly-in's to help the region get together. Neither Aug. or Sept. are good for us plus it is still mighty hot down there. May I suggest an October gathering, maybe call it a mini-BACFest for the west coasters that can't make the real BACFest in Dubuque? Perhaps not the exact same weekend but close.....just an idea! Thanks for the sustained efforts!

I'll do my best to make it unless it's in August. We are in moratorium in August, the mornings are 100 degs. September isn't a lot better. September is my annual and the Reno Air Races. I will also make BAC Fest. Might even get my wife to come...... naw.
 
Ok, I have one vote for October and one for November. I am open to suggestions that will assist members in attending. Keep the comments coming.
