The video was shot from Jim Hagedorn's (formerly Jack Roush's) P-51 "Old Crow" on June 28. I was helping out at an "Aviation Careers" camp for kids 12 to 15, and giving kids rides in the Sundowner. Jim Hagedorn brought in the P-51 and his Citation jet and half the kids got rides in the P-51, the other half got rides in the Citation. One of the lucky kids who got a ride in the P-51 shot this video as they blasted past me.

So that's what it looks like when I am intercepted in a TFR. :p
Did you know they were coming up? Or did they surprise you?

That was great, thanks for sharing.

And Thanks for spending your time and resources with the youth, its people like you and others that will make a difference in their lives for the good.

Thank you,

Steve,

I called the Old Crow pilot and asked for a "fly-by"

He gave me position reports and told me exactly what he was going to do --- none of it was a surprise. He did the same on the next two take-offs.

All pretty cool.

Larry
