Climbing to Cruise
Hey, just looking to see who all will be at Sun n Fun? I'll be there, but I won't be in the Sundowner. I'm hitching a ride down in a buddies Beech 17. Planning on getting there on the 4th, and staying all week.

Looks like you have a Nice Ride... But leaving the Sundowner at home... She is liable to get upset with you...
Wife and I will be there midday the 7th through early afternoon the 9th. I suspect most of my time will be looking at avionics. I'll be the middle age guy with my mouth hanging open and drool running out. I'm considering going to Sun n Fun again. I would be taking commercial from Boston or Providence to (Tampa/Orlando).
I need a room and a roommate and a ride around. Dates are flexible. I will share expenses.
Just deciding on go/not-go right now.

Flight Levels
I was toying with making this my first 'long' x-country. I've got folks to visit in Miami and Boca and an event I was invited to in the keys at the same time - thought I might combine that w/ two days of sun n fun and poke around there too.
I'm sure by the time I finally make a decision, life will say 'you're nuts' - and I won't go. But I'm toying with it. That doesn't count for much tho, does it?

Git to Sun n Fun Dan, you won't regret it. I've been a couple times and it is a great time with the added benefit of some great comradery with some wonderful Beech Aero Club members. I'm currently waiting for the Canadian and USA travel bans to be lifted in order to attend, but if that happens, I will be there as well, even if it means flying commercial at the last minute. Hope to see you there.

I went to Sun 'n Fun in 2018 and had a great time. I never did find the BAC tent, though I happened across a familiar-looking plane when I was wandering around. I ran in to people I knew. Talked to lots of people. Encountered some Youtube faces whose reaction to me ranged from being greeted like a long-lost old friend to a blank who-the-f**k-are-you stare.

I’ll be there but I’m not sure which days yet. I’ll look over the calendar and decide on the forums I want to attend.
i’ll be driving, though. My home drome is Winter Haven so SNF/Lakeland is just a stone’s throw away. In fact, some attendees just fly into Winter Haven and rent a car.
