you wouldn't have connections with a mechanic at FPR would you? That seems to be my staging area for the Bahamas. That is also where my plane defiantly says try to fix this. It is always nice to have a connection when things turn South.

Weather is crappy here in DFW, so I'm flying to Sun 'n Fun tonight on Spirit Airlines. I'm actually working, but I'll do my best to be at the AOPA Sweepstakes plane at 2PM. I'll be wearing a Navy or White Barnstormers.com (my job) golf shirt & shorts. My cell is 817-528-7586. Doug Punches

I just landed at Tampa Exec. Will see you all Wed. Do we have a meeting place to say hello? Mike's memorial tree at lunch? AOPA tent at 1 pm?
My Sierra did the trip from KORF Norfolk, VA in 5.2 hours on the Hobbs, 45.1 gallons of fuel. About 130 kt average ground speed. Some little tail wind, some small headwind time.
Ahhhh..... Nice after maintenance break in flight!

BAC Sun n Fun dinner is over and a good time was had by all. We had 15 members and guests. The Outback restaurant had our tables ready when we arrived, food was good and the staff very efficient. They would like to have our business next year and I think they earned it. I welcome comments from others who attended.

I was there Tues the 9th. Myself and Gary ( I believe that was his name) met at the AOPA tent at 1300 hrs and did not see any other members. I then checked the type tent and no BAC table, as n the past. I then went to the big oak to look for the BAC banner, did not see the banner or chairs. I only attended on Tues and left for home (Valparaiso, IN) on Thurs. Please insure that I receive credit for attending, I flew my sierra from KVPZ to KBOW and drove to Sun N' Fun from Bartow. Thanks

Mr. Clute,
I am sorry we missed you. I was at the AOPA airplane on Tuesday at the scheduled time (14:00) hours wearing my Beech Aero Club hat. We have not had a table in the type tent for over 3 years due to the lack of volunteers to staff it. Also, I have checked on the banner for the South East Region and it is missing. If someone would return it, I would be happy to display it.

The correct information has been on the web-site for a few weeks. If you do not have internet available please check with someone who does before you leave next year. Hopefully next year will work out better for you.

I will notify your Region Director so he may credit you for your trip.
