I'm going and can work the BAC booth a couple of sessions/days. Are we doing anything this year? Rap

Rap,
As you know I sent out a bulkmail to everyone in the Southeast region last night. You are on of only a few that can help this year. Mike R. was Doug's right hand man for this event. He was the one to hang the BAC banner around the tree with chairs. I can't be there untill Thursday. So unless something changes my thinking is to atleast try to get the banner up with the chairs around it to give a place to "hang out at". We will still have the dinner Thursday evening @ the Bonefish Grill so that everyone can get together and still enjoy the airshow on Friday night.

Is the "booth" not going to be set up until Thursday? I got in today but I don't think I will be able to make Thursday. I am here for work but will get a chance to wander around a bit tomorrow and was wondering if anybody from the club will be around. By the way, I ate at the Bonefish tonight. It was excellent.

Will the shuttle take you to the Bonefish? I'm not sure I'll get there before the airshow starts so if not there's no way I can make it by 7:00. Planning a fuel stop at KLUX just so I can see what Mecca looks like!

Got this email via my dad via Bob Gibson:

I just received a phone call from Bob Flynn at Sun N Fun:

- Very high winds (or possibly a small tornado) has “thrown” airplanes all over the area. He described it as “planes stacked on top of other planes.”
- One of the permanent buildings (he didn’t say which one) collapsed with 70 people inside
- Sun N Fun officials are clearing people off the main walks and into buildings (another tornado alert).

Those of you planning to go Friday might want to check and see if Sun N Fun will even be OPEN to the public.

I sure hope everyone is fine down there!
