John Redmon,
I was looking at your "Boots on the ground" map above. Very impressive.
Come to New England and fill in the empty spaces.
You can take off from Connecticut and land in New York, then Rhode Island and only fly 17nms.
Then you can take off from Massachusetts and land in New Hampshire and then land in Maine and only fly 21nms.
Tell us when you can do this. Bring friends and we will join you for a BAC fly-in.
Vermont can be added on your way home.

Hey Tom, I have 9 states left to complete the lower 48. I have flown my Sierra, landed and got out of the airplane at all of those states. Bob Schmidt says it doesn't count unless you leave your DNA. So, that would include a restroom break. I had a flight plan to fill in those nine states just before BACFest 2017 in New Bedford. The weather didn't cooperate with the hurricane that parked itself off the coast for days on end. Maybe I can get it done this next year before arriving at BACFest 2026.

Or maybe I just plan a trip and come out and see you all.

John,
New England will welcome you. I can verify that your plan in 2017 was thwarted by a genuine hurricane.
Don't forget, you can land on the ice in New Hampshire (hopefully) in February.
Come anytime... just not when we are busy watching the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Thanks for the invitation, Tom.

On Saturday we had a good turnout. Four attendees and one Sierra on the field. Pat had to do an instrument approach. There was a scattered layer over the airport. Food was great as always along with the good company. I was very interested in Pat's newest panel upgrade. Very impressive. This is the second panel upgrade that Pat has done to his plane. See attached pictures. One more fly-in before we take a break for the winter. Next up Sporty's.

Waiting on our food order. Chris and Joe Kirby, Pat Jeski
