Hey Baby Beech Aero Club Peeps

Gonna try this again.....We're going Air Racing! It would be great to meet some fellow Baby Beechcrafters at the Rare Bear:-)

Not sure what day or time would be good for all who are planning on going this year? Lets chop it up, figure it out. I'll be there September 5th to 17th.

I know that Marty "The Flying Dutchman" Vanover and I will be there. We each have pit passes, so maybe we can get organized when we are there. Having said that, we are open to suggestions.
 
I am still working this out with Pam. Jeanne Gurnee, and Doug Faucette, our spouses, and I had a nice BBQ at the High Sierra last year. We also got together at the Silver Legacy, which with nice, but somber after the day’s events. I will let you guys know.

I really wanted to go this year and have been trying to gently push Jeff to see if he would go last minute, but does not seem like it will work out. There is a young eagle event that Saturday and I have been remiss in helping out at the flight line and those guys are really good to us, so I think we will stay here....

I'll be up with family who are Stead locals. So I'll have the Kawasaki and not the Beech, but I would love to drop in and say hi. Around what time frame on the weekend would we meet by the Bear?
 
Hey all. How about Saturday around 1 or 2 in the afternoon in the pits? We have to stage around 3, so the plane should be all cowled up, cleaned up and ready to go about 1. 12:00 would probably be good too.......Bring your camera:-)

"Maybe's" appear to be the Samacs and Doug Faucette (but only for an evening this year...sorry DF).

Nothing is firmed up yet. Scott has offered to meet up at 1 to 2 in the pits at the race plane. I'm thinking maybe somewhere for a burger or something Saturday evening. Thoughts?
 
OK! Rousing response to this so far! But, undaunted, we have reservations at Mario's Portofino on Virginia St. for Saturday night. Trying for 7 PM. Hope to see some of you there!

I'll be having dinner with my Reno family, so I'll miss out. But I'll check in in the pits again. Dropped by today after 5:00 but no one knew anything about a Beech Aero Club member. I had forgotten Scott's name.
 
Hello race fans!

We had a wonderful BAC dinner last night with Marlene & Doug Faucette, Marty Vanover(haul) and LeeAnne & Chris Linderman in attendance. It was great to meet Marlene and Doug proving once again that BAC members are the BEST!

Hope more can join us next year! The air races have been awesome!
