President's Trophy Points

A fly-in has to be posted on the BAC calendar 14 days ahead of time to count for PT points. You can piggy back on another event. We typically post and award PT points for SNF, OSH and Beech Party. You can piggy back on whatever event you want as long as you post on time. And the RD has to keep track of miles/points and report them to me.

Okay! We'll post another SW regional fly-in for Palm Springs in conjunction with AOPA Expo and maybe I'll get PT points this time instead of Delta Frequent Flyer points!

The event is on the calendar and official announced as a BAC fly-in for November 11-12 in Palm Springs. If you fly your baby Beech you can earn valuable President's Trophy Points...PTP's!!!!

Come one, come all!

I guess I'm trying for the unoffical record of Mouseless miles. We've got about 1280 auto miles to and from BACFest (sadly the red Durango some of you got to ride in was destroyed by fire in September) and 300 auto miles plus 3070 A319 miles (1st class if not PIC, sigh). So 4650 of those wimpy statute miles minus SuperMouse (weather for BACFest and distance for AOPA).

Given how totally short on time I felt in Palm Springs this year I think I'll have to try Hartsford next year as well.

So I figure I'll just sit on my thumbs until January 1 since Mike has us all spanked for this year ;-).

Next is to figure out how to plan a fly-in for Florida 1200 miles from home over Thanksgiving next year so I can get credit for our annual pilgramage to turkey in shirt-sleeves...

No kidding..8)
