Hi Folks,

Sunday April 6th @11:00 AM
Bradford County - Towanda PA - (N27)

Is it summer yet ? I've been remiss in my duties but It's been a hard winter in upstate NY with hardly any flying at all... Looked like the weather is best for this Sunday - so I'm going to give Bradford County PA a shot if I can remember how to get off the ground - think happy thoughts - right ??? I've stopped in there once before and it looks like it had a decent restaurant within walking distance... I'll confirm the restaurant will be open and report back... Anyone interested - c'mon down - umm - err - or up - or over...

Scott,

I don't think I'll get there in time. Meeting up with a Chris Huston and Joe Ebert from AOPA forum in Williamsport (KIPT) at 9am for eats.

Morn'n Folks,

No worries or pressure - Garry/Paul... Be happy to see someone - but - this is just my attempt to get back in the groove - haven't flown a cross country since last year... If the weather is nice - we may just hang out for a bit just to be outside again - so we might be there a while...

Regards,
Scott

Just when you think you need to send sympathy to Scott's next of kin he pops up with a "pop up".

Round trip for me would be 500 miles so I'll be at the next fly-in.

But - I have a few coveted BEECH BUM T-shirts for attendees. Someone email me with names, addresses and sizes (no 2XXL left) and I'll send you your reward.

Thanks Scott for this posting.

Hi Tom,

Yeah - LOL - I know...
:)

Next one is in your direction... VT ? I wanted a nice easy one to reacquaint myself with flying...

Restaurant is open...

OBTW: Dave wants to hit Bay Bridge MD (W29) for some seafood - I hope they have parts of a cow lying around myself - not to mention I think that one is in enemy territory - so we'll have to plan our incursion carefully...

Regards,
Scott

Hi Tom,

Be happy to see you but you do realize this is Bradford County in northeastern PA - not Bradford Airport in northwestern PA...

Scott

Hi Dave,

If the weather is good - we'll be there - no rush... If it's as windy as it was today - LOL - maybe not... I'll update this thread whatever happens...
;)

Regards,
Scott

I can't make the trip today. Let me know when you go to the real Bradford pa field. The weather is great in western pa so you should be good for the day

Hi Folks,

Successful fly-in - company was good - food was mediocre - only two bird - Dave's and mine... Dave brought a buddy...

No photo essays this time - sorry...
:(

We're good on shirts Tom - none necessary...

Regards,
Scott

Scott,
The aircraft above is registered to a Brian Warenda, from Bloomsburg, PA. Don't know if he belongs to BAC?

Hey Guys,

I looked up the tail number in our database the other day - came up with Ted Hosler - sent him an email as I noticed he's been a member for a while but had zero posts - figured I'd try to get him to a fly-in... He responded and we had a nice little chat - I believe the plane is in a partnership and his parter was flying when I took the pix... Ted seems very friendly and enthusiastic - I hope to put another fly-in together soon so we can get a face to face... As I've said - the fly-ins are some of the best parts of BAC...

I must have sent a dozen personal emails last fall to NY'rs who haven't been very active - before my hibernation - nobody responded - LOL - I am trying...
:)

Maybe people in PA are just more friendly - LOL ???

Regards,
Scott

Scott, it's nice to see that you don't have that snow shovel against your throat now... This year has been rough hasn't it?
