Penn Yan Aero Tour Poll Pre-event to BACFest 2011

I spoke to Devon Snyder, National Sales Director for Penn Yan Aero. He said that he would welcome us to a tour of their facilities. He would also set up a demonstration of their Dyno. The tour will take about an hour and half. I selected to take a poll to see which day would be of interest to the members attending BACFest 2011 - either on Wednesday 9/28, Thursday 9/29, or not all. KPEO is about 15 minutes by air from KITH.

Hmmmm. I would have enjoyed doing this tour. I have enjoyed all of the tours we have been on during the prior BACfest events. They are educational and well as a great opportunity to bond with BAC members. I missed the first BACfest at ICT and the factory tour. But I have made the rest of them. I have never been disappointed.

I had to pull the trigger on airfare and the hotel already, so I am not sure if I could make this tour, with my schedule set tightly around the event, to bad.

This would have been a great tour. Like Bill, I am not scheduled to get to Ithaca until the late afternoon of Thursday. 9/29. So I'm not sure if I could make your schedule, but Thursday would be my choice if it works out. Thanks for the effort.

It looks like Thursday will be the day. Here are my thoughts. My personal plans are to go to the Glenn Curtis Museum Thursday morning in Hammondsport. Then drive up to Penn Yan for the tour. If we have the tour around 1:00pm. Those that are flying can stop in before going on to Ithaca. Still enough time for those that fly or drive to attend the reception at 5:00pm.
