Pancake Breakfast and events

At the Brookings Airport (BKX) located in South Dakota at the intersection of Hwy 14 and Interstate 29, on April
10th, there will be a Pancake Breakfast catered by the Hy Vee store. From 7am till noon all you can eat for 5 dollars. There will also be a spot landing contest, Prizes and rides for new to aviation folks.
The event has been organized by the SDSU students (whom have a classroom up stairs at the FBO) and Pheasants Fury Aviation. Pheasants Fury FBO will give a 60 cents per gallon discount on fuel for the one day event.

Jerry,

I can't make the pancake event, but can you tell me anything about the aviation program at SDSU? (I know they're small, do they look like they will continue the program?) We're taking our son there next week for a campus visit. He's real excited to go there, and I'm happy we found a college with an aviation program that's priced less than UND, Embry Riddle, OSU, etc. The A23A has the engine off for overhaul but hope to deliver him to SDSU in August in the Musketeer.

Bob you can't say the program is small. They have more students every year and good aircraft. I know you folks will be very happy when you come to check it out. I will be working at the FBO next week and I hope you will take time to say HI. Jerry
