OK - had some input requesting a Fly-In to Block Island - so let's throw one up...

I am not available that date, but I would like to do a trip there this summer. I usually spend a few days on Martha's Vineyard so this would be an easy combo.

We could just do MVY when convenient - it's not that far for most - I've never been there... Oh wait - that's in Tom's state - I see your point - maybe BID would be better ?

Scott, You've got to give some more lead-time on these fly-ins! I would love to do Block Island. I want to do the 3 states in 15 minutes challenge! 0B8, GON, WST. New York, Conn and RI only 15 miles apart! If you set this out a little bit maybe I could arrange my schedule to make it up there. I need to earn my t-shirt!

Actually - Now that you mention it - I think John mentioned Harvey had a fly-in posted on the calendar in Clearfield PA on the same day - I always forget to check the actual calendar... While pretty far apart - wouldn't want to take anyone from Harvey's Fly-In -'attendance is pretty small as it is...

Glad to see the joys of flying in the Northeast Region are apparent and on everyone's bucket list.

Block Island on May 17 would be fine. Note $15 landing fee if you leave the airport. Walk to town.

Katama (grass) on Martha's Vineyard would be fine anytime. (Taxi your Beech to the beach).

The 15 mile 3 state challenge (CT NY RI) is fun and quick.

Post anything gentlemen. I'll distribute BEECH BUM T-shirts as long as they last. And I will likely show up to do it.
I don't go back to Prince Edward Island until June 15.

While it's a bit of a haul - anyone interested in trying Harvey's in Clearfield PA next weekend ??? I've been there a couple times and it's a nice area - home of the famous Denny's Beer Barrel Pub...
