Headed to Andromeda
It looks like there will be two Musketeers on display tomorrow at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum at the Udvar Hazy Center adjacent to Dulles Airport. This is a great family day event that attracts the biggest crowds of the year with lots of plane and helicopter tours (static) as well as presentations by many aviation notables. The weather looks great for the day. You can either fly to Dulles and catch a ride from your FBO of choice to the Museum or drive up for the free event. If you fly make sure you don’t get caught up with the showplanes for the event to avoid “unintended access to restricted areasâ€!! But this is a lot of fun and it is always great to see all the aviation fans as well as the displays opened up for the day.
