Anybody interested in some Golf and flying Sunday June 9 at Luray Caverns Va . The Air czar and myself are going to make a day of it ( weather permitting). Luray has a golf course along with Sky Bryce. This will not count for points but shirts are available to participants . Thanks John 703-723-0986 if you are interested

Mary and I are just starting out, only played a few rounds so far. We are going out tomorrow early morning to get 9 holes in at Clayton Park, the home course. It's a good course for beginners.

Hope you guys have a safe flight and a fun round. Once we get better and stop pointing and laughing at each other maybe we will join you, so you both can point and laugh. :)

Hey Gary, If we play best ball we might not lose that many golf balls .Andrea has just started taking some lessons and I have only been playing for a couple years. Its a lot of fun when not taken that serious. It probably is fun if you take it serious but I wouldn't know about that.:)

I did get the golf in and after lunch I got to fly safety pilot in my plane for a friend who wanted to knock out approaches.

I'm beat!

How was the flight and golf game ??

We ended up fore going the golf because Persinger just got his plane out of annual and for some reason, he wanted to fly instead of golf. I flew up to Culpeper and met him there where his plane was having the annual. We flew down to Hanover and got the courtesy Mercedes Benz! and it's not a clunker either. It's worth the flight just to borrow the courtesy car! We went to Chili's for lunch and then we both departed for home. John made it as far as Culpeper before the weather shut him down so he dropped off the plane and drove his car back home. I waited in the pilot lounge and watched the final few innings of a UNC-USC baseball game while thunderstorms rolled out of my path. Did you or anyone make it up to the MD Festival?
