Lambert's at Foley, AL - August 30

We're planning a get together at Lambert's (Home of the Throwed Roll) at Foley, AL on August 30. Brad Mitchell also has an event scheduled for Lambert's at Sikeston, MO on the same day.

We'll plan to meet at Foley (5R4) at about 11:30 and then call Lambert's to come pick us up in their van.

Trying to get an idea of how many might come. Let me know if you think you'll make it.

Would like to come down for some lunch but have another project in the works for that weekend. Will be a last minute decision if we can make it down. Do you have anyone signed up so far?

My hangar mate will come along and I've offered to pick up Brian Foote in Thibodaux but haven't heard back from him.

Will have a better idea if we can make it depending on where we go that weekend. We may scoot down to WPB to see the folks.

You'll have to count me out as I'm having some problems with the engine/plugs/wiring harnes/mags or something along those lines. If I do get it together I'll most likely fly over to Mike's for a second opinion.

We may have to postpone this thing if Gustav keeps trucking this way.

We could be under a mandatory evacuation here in Nawlins by Saturday.
 
The fly-in to Foley, Alabama is postponed effective immediately. The incoming weather from hurricane Gustav is the reason. While the weather may allow some people to get there, hurricanes are too unpredictable and so we'll cancel the event and reschedule for another day and time.

Let's say POSTPONED until further notice. I'll try to reschedule for a later date. Thanks to Chris for posting the earlier notice for me. I couldn't get to the website earlier for whatever reason.

Do you think you'll do the fly-in yet this year? Or, will you postpone until next? I'd sure like to make the trip just to throw a roll at you!

Dang Gustav's Hide! I was looking forward to going tomorrow. I am only about an hour away. I'll be watching for the new date.
