Orbiting Earth
This Saturday there is a fly-in breakfast at 6K9, Keosauqua, Iowa. It is unique grass strip along the Des Moines River with a 2,300' runway, but there is a 400' displaced threshold on the east end and 1,000' on the west, so there is a lot more room than just 2,300'. The winds are supposed to be out of the west on Saturday, with temps starting out at 69F, so there is more than enough length. I will be there with the Sierra about 7:30 and Jim is coming from Dubuque with the Super III. If anyone else would like to join in, we can line them up and take some pictures. I didn't decide that the weather was ok with our recent hot weather until it was too late to announce an official fly-in, but if anyone would like to join in, we will be there.
