If all goes well with the annual next week, I plan to be there. Bolton always brings in a nice crowd for the bbq!

Shoot, I always enjoyed that fly-in but this year I have a niece getting married that day. I will see what I can do to have her move the wedding to Friday but I am not holding my breath.

Well can't make this one we have a graduation out of town but if you do again this summer or fall will try and make it ! Dave and Lorrie

We had a light turn out for this fly-in. Weather was good but hot. A few commented on the forum that they would have attended but had other plans. We had two-member aircraft on the field a Sundowner and a Sierra. Brad Mitchell flew his Sundowner in from Georgetown (27K) along with a couple of his friends also based at (27K) flying their aircraft. Crosswind landing skills were again tested for the second time in a row for the East Central Region. I had a good flight over smooth at 5500msl and a 155kt groundspeed. Knowing I would pay for it on the way back. Started getting bumped around as I descended below 2,000ft into Bolton Field. Food and service was great as always and they appreciated our business. Return trip was as expected slow 104kt groundspeed at 6500msl. Scattered clouds increased and started to be an issue at my altitude. Decided to climb to 8500msl to stay cool and smooth until it was time to land at Indy Regional (KMQJ). This is an annual event so look for it again next year!

Thanks for posting the pictures John. Now if we can only figure out how to Photoshop John Persinger's face onto the JP's Ribs sign! :)
