Next Sunday, April 15th, is the first Jimmy's Canteen of the year. About once a month, food is catered in by a local woman who just loves to see planes and talk to pilots. Food is served buffet style and she charges 7.00 per person donation. More if you can afford it as it is all you can eat. If the weather is nice, the ramp can get crowded but there is always room. Most people come in and stay for a while just to talk. The food is good but the camaraderie is great.
Fuel at IDI is currently $5.49. This is my home field so I'll be hanging around fo a while especially if I know others will be coming. Tom
