After a 2-year hiatus EAA Vintage Aircraft Association Chapter 16 at K34 in Gardner Kansas (Kansas City area) is very excited to bring our fly-in back three weeks from now!

It will be a very exciting weekend around our local aviation community. A short 15 minute Mouse flight away, at Ottawa Kansas (KOWI), the International Aerobatic Club will be having a contest on Friday and Saturday as well.

The fly-in has been rescheduled to October due to our chapter's hangar construction delay. The aerobatic competition in Ottawa is still on. 
 
Our fly-in is on THIS weekend -- 10/1/22

We've reduced it down to a single day event but we can accommodate tents if anyone wants to camp, we have a shower in our chapter hangar. Or, I'll provide transportation to local hotels.

We'll have breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
 
Great idea.  However, I want to mention that the BAC has had a few fly-ins at Pola, KS just south of Gardner at Miami County Airport.  They have a restaurant on field called We B Smoking.  They serve most American food, but specialize in barbeque.  Gas is usually cheaper there than most other places.  Hopefully, we can have a fly-in there in the near future.

It's not my idea. It's the annual VAA 16 fly-in. We're one of the biggest VAA chapters at over 150 members. 

Agreed, We B Smokin' is good.
