The second official fly-in in the Northeast Region is set for April 20, 2015.
At 9am we will meet at the Norwood, Massachusetts Airport (KOWD). Then fly to Hopkinton, Massachusetts to watch the 25,000 runners start the race. After flying most of the race course we will return to Norwood, get in a van then drive to the marathon halfway point in Wellesley.
This way we see the entire course, every runner and experience the lead runners up close. Also, we eat sandwiches at Wellesley for the first picnic of the year.
More details closer to April 20th... including info on a possible TFR... which will not effect us.
