Around The Moon
Join us for lunch at Iola this Friday. Lunch is served at noon, but try to arrive early. You must join the Central County Flyers Association to participate. Lifetime membership is $10, and by serving to members only, the Association does not need to have a food server's license. Be aware the airport only has turf runways; the longest is 2530'. I've been there once, and there were 50-60 in attendance!

I got this scheduled on the BAC calendar just in time to qualify for PT points!!!

This week the main entree is baked ham with pineapple glaze for $6.99 per person. Check out their website at http://netnet.net/~wjknjan/lmenu.html

Sounds good, though right now the weather looks iffy. I'll see if Jeff wants to ride along. You get to set the next one up!

Ummm, this one was my idea........kind of.....I'll be letting you know when we'll have our Plane Safe Cookout.

Sam

Looks like the weather might hold. As of now, I plan to be there about 11:30 tomorrow. We will be going with at least one other Baby Beech out of Waukesha (KUES). If you are nearby and want to join us, we will meet at the PlaneSafe hangar around 10:15, and leave from there.

Another success! We almost got weathered out, but left Waukesha with 1000ft ceilings and improving weather as we progressed. We ended up with only two members, Sam Cryer and myself. Cheryl Meloche was planning to go, but didn't think we would launch because of the weather. Her hubby, also a pilot, flew right seat with Sam. Sorry, spouses don't get PT points!

Was a good trip. I really thought I nailed that spot landing!!! But alas, I can't see my gear to know 'exactly' where I landed....$500.00 would have been awesome!!!!

We'll get the next one scheduled soon, we have a few events planned....

Reedsburg, WI (take a tour of the local paint shop)?, The Wisconsin Dells (Baraboo Airport and go to the Casino)?, Sheboygan, WI ? (Lunch), Our Plane Safe Customer Appreciation/ BAC fly-in. Another trip or two to Iola. An overnight to Lakeland (Minocqua-Woodruff, WI) just to mention a few ideas.... :)

Sounds good! Don't forget Schaumburg for lunch and the Oshkosh Hilton for brunch. Then there is Shawano for burgers, and Janesville for breakfast or lunch. Maybe even Racine to tour DeltaHawk engines.

Sounds like we could have a busy year!

Any dates in mind for the next event(s)?

Anyone else with suggestions, chime in... Let's have a busy schedule.

I know John Redmon is working on a few events for Indiana/Illinois as well.
