NO ICE. NOT NICE.
You can land this year on Lake Winnipesauke if you like but you will get wet.
"Musketeers do not float".
Plan on using the ice runway next year.
Still waiting for at least 12" thickness of frozen runway to put plow trucks on Alton Bay.
Temperature today about 10 degrees below zero in New Hampshire.
Ice as of February 13 is only 7" on Lake Winnipesauke. FEBRUARY 27 IS OUR NEW DATE.
Before you go check the recording at 603 875 3498.

Tom, once again you have placed me in a difficult position with a challenging decision to make. My current plans for that day include flying of course. But now I must decide between cold wet ice runway or a nice warm quiet beach in the Bahamas...... I guess I will have to give that some serious consideration. Hmmm.. Fly to New Hampshire for a day in February vs a week in the Bahamas flying around...... Will have to let you know about that. (Right!)
Well shoot! Now I have to find something else to do Sat. Given it was 50' yesterday and we will have another "Storm Of The Century" (according to the Wx weenies), I'll probably be able to go kayaking Sat.
Even accounting for normal New England Wx and even Global Warming...this has been a weird couple years.
