Fantasy of Flight Closing

Unfortunately the Fantasy of Flight Attraction between Orlando and Lakeland is closing its’ doors to the public on April 6, 2014. It will continue to host private events.

Plans are to reopen later in 2014 as a scaled down museum with admission prices reduced. Please see link for article.

Well if you can possibly get there before April 6th, please do. One of the top aviation attractions in the country. Been there many times.

I would be interested in trying to put together another fly-in. Last I recall, it was $50 per plane paid in advance, got to land at Fantasy of Flight, admission included, and lunch in the "officer's mess". Kermit would probably be there as it is getting close to Sun N Fun.
