Level Cruise
Our Fly-In happened last weekend in Ganderkesee EDWQ.
It was a small meeting with the old faces again, we had some more reservations but weather was preventing to see more crews. Low clouds and strong wind was forecasted and more or less accompanying our meeting.
Nevertheless Rickmer and Kathrin BE23 D-EHEY from EDFY, Hans (Ute reported sick at home) BE23 D-EOJH from EDXR Rendsburg, Elke and myself D-EAPS BE24 from EDFY Elz flew in for the traditional meeting with a lot of chatting, good food and drinks and a wonderful dinner at the end of the first day.
We confirmed the Fly-In with
an overnight at the airfield to be the perfect set up. The meeting was concluded with a breakfast before waiting for the right weather window to commence the safe journey back home or - in our case - our flight to the French Atlantic coast for some more days of a short vacation in Quiberon LFEQ.
We hope to see more crews next year, stay tuned for the invitation 2027!
