It’s been a while since I sent out an email, but warm weather is
hopefully here and fly-in season has begun! I wanted to let you know
about two event that are already scheduled.

PlaneSafe owners Dru and Sam Cryer are hosting a customer appreciation
and BAC fly-in on Saturday, May 15th, at Planesafe Aircraft Maintenance,
located on the Waukesha, WI airport (KUES). Hours are noon to six PM,
with food and beverages provided. You can learn more on the BAC website at:

https://vbl.beechaeroclub.org/conte...ppreciation-and-BAC-Fly-In-Waukesha-WI-(KUES)

The third annual BAC Picnic on the Flightline will be held at the Larry and
Debbie Last home adjacent to the Oshkosh, WI airport (KOSH), on
Tuesday afternoon, July 27th. This is during EAA AirVenture, and the
view of the airshow from their back yard is awesome! Details are still
being worked out, but we will have a shuttle from AirVenture, and the
catered buffet lunch will be served around 1:30. Check the BAC web site
as the event gets closer.

As always, I’m looking for suggestions for fly-ins. It does not have to
be fancy – maybe in conjunction with an event at your local airport, or
just a fly-in breakfast or lunch somewhere. Send me an email at
bob@beechaeroclub.org if you have any ideas.

Sure looks like it... Did you get my email on East Central fly-ins? We were having some distributon list problems.

Maybe folks are just waiting to see what the weather is going to be, or just haven't replied to this post.

I'll still be there!!!

Anybody planning to come, please reply to this post so Sam knows how much food to get!

Bob and Sam,

I have been told that I might have to work that day. If it turns out that I don't my family and I plan on making the trip up again. I will advise as soon as my boss decides if I have to work or not.

It looks like there are enough events planned for May 15th that our event scrolled off the page (even our prez missed it in BACFire!). It's still on!

You can get the full calendar schedule if you double-click on the date in the events calendar.

Open house and BAC fly-in at the PlaneSafe hangar from noon till 6PM at Waukesha, Wisconsin (KUES). Food and drink provided.

Hope to see lots of you there!!!!

Everything is a go for tomorrow!!! Weather even looks like it will cooperate!

We will have Mike in our thoughts as the Mighty Baby Beeches decend upon Waukesha, WI!!!!!

See everyone tomorrow!

Sam

We had a pretty good turnout at the BAC fly-in and PlaneSafe open house on Saturday. We ended up with six Mice and six BAC members plus their guests.

Those attending were:

Sam Cryer (PlaneSafe1) and his wife Dru, our hosts, from Wisconsin
Bob Schmidt (rgschmi,) from Wisconsin
Larry Hellmuth (lwhellmuth) with his wife and son, from Wisconsin
Larry Newland (larrynewland) and his wife, from Michigan
Mark Anderson (MDA), from Wisconsin
Joe Meno (StoneBroke) and his flight instructor, from Illinois

The burgers, brats, hot dogs, pizza and all the trimmings were great - I know I ate too much!

The weather was not a good as forecast, skies were hazy at best, so a few planning to attend didn't make it, but we had three states represented - not bad!

Sam and Dru have pictures which will get posted later.

Thanks to all who came, and those who tried!

Dru forgot her camera this morning, so I will post up sometime tomorrow......

We had a great turnout, 82 people came to visit and we had four campers parked outside the hangar for an overnighter.....it was a huge success! Thank-You to all the members of the BAC that came out and to Bob for assisting where he did....or did he? LOL!

Now let's get more Fly-ins scheduled and go fly our Fabulous Baby Beech Airplanes!!!!!
