En route I noticed I couldn't reach Indy center or anyone else for that matter. I had a friend from Indiana and we flew over his family home in Batesville then headed home. I found on the way back that the PTT button on right yoke did work but mine did not. Bad news was I missed lunch with John but good news was I got 2.5 hours of learning the new GFC500. It was a good day.

I drove over and had a few sprinkles on the windshield. By the time I arrived in Terre Haute the weather had cleared. Blue skies prevailed. Bob Trader few in from Madison, IN in his Sundowner. Bob and I were the only attendees. We discussed Oshkosh, BACFest, Beech Party, amongst other things. Service was a little slow. But well worth the wait. Bob went home with a BAC T-shirt for flying in. Bob wanted me to mention Madison Regional Airport (KIMS) in Madison, IN will be having an airshow on September 27th. He said he will probably be helping out by parking aircraft. On the way home I encountered rain and T-storms by the time I reached Greenfield, IN.
