Brunch at Rick's Cafe Boatyard - Indianapolis, IN (KEYE) - Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016

I can clear it but then I will be in Class C airspace. I usually fly just under the floor if I don't want to talk to ATC when I go to Eagle Creek. I won't take a chance on a violation. So, I will be talking to approach.

Sorry to hear that Rob. I was looking forward to meeting you. Thanks for giving me the heads up. Besides that it looks like a great day to fly!

Wish I could have made it. Working on the house and haven't even seen the BEECH for 6 weeks. That changes starting thanksgiving. Gotta get bavck flying again.

John, it's good that you're careful. Now that you're fully ADS-B compliant, BIG BROTHER knows your every flying move. And he knows where you're based! He'll be waiting for you when you land. :)

Same! I was looking forward to this for some time. Just felt like hell most of the weekend. I did manage to get up and cruise around Chicago on Sunday though.

What a beautiful day to fly! I think Curt Lindauer said it best, "...if you weren't flying today, then you just don't enjoying flying." I checked my records and this was the best turn out for the East Central Region. We had 17 attendees and 9 aircraft. This is why I enjoy hosting and attending our fly-ins. It is the people foremost and the common interest we share.

Editor's note: For some reason the pictures dropped out. I reposted. See posts #30, #31 for pictures that were originally here but not viewable. Thanks Curt for letting me know.
