I had knee surgery (finally) and am now able to craw around the plane. Decided to go for a flight since the plane had been sitting for 60 days and found that the pilot side port side break pedal went to the floor, so couldn't start the plane. Jumped over to the passenger side and had good brakes. Haven't flown in 60 days, so wanted to get the plane moving. Flew from the passenger side with no problems....called the AP/IA to have a look and haven't heard back. If the plane if airworthy will come to the event.

However, I am concerned that there is a bigger issue and the plane may be grounded for a while.....

I also have a full knee replacement on Monday 13th but I’m up for Sunday!
I’m trying to get Jack Klute from VPZ to go with me.

We have a chance of rain for Sunday. I went ahead and made reservations for 10:45am EST. We'll see what it looks like by tomorrow evening.
 
Due to the forecast for tomorrow I have decided to cancel the fly-in. What a difference a year makes. Last year we had great weather for the fly-in and had a record turn out. We will reschedule for sometime next year.
