Orbiting Earth
See every runner. See the winner race by. See the entire course.
See from the air. See from the ground. Lunch with your friends.
We meet in the air for this annual event.
Be at 1,400' over Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
Look out for banner tows at your altitude.
Keep your eyes open because there are aircraft to
your right, left, above and below - only feet away.
Travel in a counterclockwise circle with them.
Expect a beehive of activity with helicopters everywhere.

Staggered race starts so pick the time you like.
After watching the start from altitude we fly the race course until
we get to the edge of the Boston Class Bravo. Then we
fly along the north side of the course and depart to
Norwood Airport (KOWD) to land and transfer to
the BAC Luxury SUV for a ride to the race
halfway point in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
There we set up chairs and wait for the front runners
to pass by a few minutes later. While there
we eat the sandwiches each of us has brought with us.
After 12,000 to 15,000 runners have passed by we
reverse our journey and get our airplanes for a
fight home.
If you are planning to join us email me at
[email protected] for enough-chairs reasons.
