Fly in for Beer and BBQ on November 13th. Remember to leave your keys at the door. Fly out The 14th. Looking forward to seeing as many as possible to make it in for that weekend..
Chad, this sounds like a plan! I have it penciled in on my calendar for Ann & me. Would you mind posting information on nearest hotel accommodations and rental car options for those of us that plan to partake of both the bbq & the beer?
Chad, et al-
I posted the event on the BAC calendar so it becomes an official BAC fly-in. Somebody keep up with the attendees and how they arrived so we can keep the PT points up-to-date. Have fun...wish I could be there but that's a long plane ride from Utah for a beer!
Debbie & Gary Boyce, Ann & Dan Kirby and Ann & I are all planning to come down Friday afternoon and stay at Hampton Inn so we'll be there whatever time the festivities begin Saturday. If anyone else is coming Friday, let us know and we'll get together for dinner at a place TBD.
I be there, but driving as the Sierra is still waiting parts, but I will have the simulator there as well. I am leaving Thurs and should be there by mid day or so Fri. I'll be hanging around the LUX and working on some parts with Chad, so let me know when and where for the dinner!
Alright Guy's Saturday The 13th. Looks like food will be ready by 12. Beer and Wine cold by 10am if you do that kind of breakfast. Need a head count. Picking up supplies on friday and getting the ribs a cooking and drinks a chillin.
The Hampton Inn has a special Rate for us and they are holding extra rooms under Hammerhead. There phone number is (864) 938-1040. Ask for "Debrah" We will also have a shuttle service running that day for the event.
Definitely 1 if I get my starter fixed, hoping for 2.
I went to start the plane today, and the prop continued cranking after I had removed the key. Kept on cranking veerrrryyyy slowly until I turned off the battery. Savannah Aviation has to do this one, so I hope they can have it fixed by Friday.
