Beechcraft Heritage Museum addition

As I gloomily predicted 3/7, the forecasts are for rain in Tullahoma Friday evening all day Saturday and into Sunday. Sigh......

Bo

Sadly, that's one of the reasons we decided to go via Northwest. I know it will definetely impact who can make the trip. Good luck and stay safe!

Candy :D

Bo,

I think you're too pessimistic.

I think Friday afternoon and evening may be rainy.

But I don't think Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be too bad.

Cloyd

Unfortunately, Cloyd, the clouds and rain are moving west-east. Putting all of it between us and THA on Friday.

We are loking at leaving tomorrow AM (Thursday) to get in front of it.

Museum Addition

Kim, Norton and Friends are still planning on coming in Friday afternoon. We may get a little wet, but hopefully it will hold off until we are on the ground!

Norton

Bo,

That sounds like an EXCELLENT plan.

I wish I could get out Thursday.

I think Bill Manhein and I may be able to get away early Friday and make it to THA before it gets ugly.

We'll be watching the weather closely.

Cloyd

Rellihan and the Sunny Beech are in Tullahoma. Room 217 at the Hampton Inn. Still trying to find Brad M....

Brad M. has arrived. Quite a few planes already here, but not all are Beech. What's up with that? See everyone when they arrive. Fly safe.

6629R

6629R and its crew should be wheels up around 16:30z and hope to be in Tullahoma by 21:30 or thereabouts...(one facilities stop)

See you there!! :D

Nine BAC planes on the Museum ramp so far, plus three members known to have flown in. Getting cloudy out.

Just finished test flight after gear motor repairs. Everything good and should be on the way in the early AM. Keep the fingers crossed for good weather.

Doug

While the front supposedly went through here last night, no signs of rain at all. Severe clear this morning in Tullahaoma, with bright sunshine! Current temp around 50; should be a georgous BAC Fly-In day.

Still Lookin at weather, delayed take off so by 1100 0r 1200 today, decision will be made...so far looking doable....Flight Services make weather seem so dreay these days...sure miss the briefers from anderson SC now......

Monty..

Unfortunately Solid IFR here on Saturday AM in North Central Indiana. Looks like the weather will keep me from launching this morning ... DARN !!

Paul Dobosz

Well, the weather looks promising, probably would not be a factor, but the cold I caught on Thursday, and seemed to be gone this morning, has resurfaced with an ear still not clearing...won't be able to make the trip ....Another event I wanted to attend gone....this has not been my year so far....but have learned once again, IFR ticket opens up possiblities (sickness not controllable), and will start working on it asap (money notwithstanding)..

Am I bummed out about this....

Send me your good pictures from the BHM event. I want to gather them all and put names on the pictures so other members can put names and faces together for future events.

You can email pictures to [email protected].

Thanks,
Doug

While you guys were there did the Beech higher ups from the company show up and was there any comment on additional support of starting up our aircraft lines in the future?
