I've sent in my registration and paid my fee for the Beechcraft Heritage Museum Fly-In!! I'll be flying with my son, Dominick, and meeting my father and step-mother there (they'll be driving from Mississippi). My father owned and flew a lot of hours in a 1967 Musketeer, I'm sure he'll enjoy the museum.

My son and I will be camping on the field, my father and step-mother will be in a hotel. Anyone else going to camp?

Count me (Kim Highfill, Jr), and g/f Kate Vandy in for the BHM 4/18-20!! I am the "silent" partner of N6629R with Ngeddie ;-). I have sent in our Reservation Form and CC info to Kristal for processing already.

Also, just in case there are some active/former military members out there that may be attending, I did not know that Arnold AFB is just 10-15 minutes down the road. To be honest, I had never even heard of it!! Anyways, they have Space-A reservation slots available to us at the Wingo Inn on base if you are interested. It is apparently a really nice place that sits on a lake that just went through a $2.8mil renovation. Plus, at around $30 a night, it can't be beat!!

I know Monty Spencer got his radio fixed, and is hoping to attend; but I don't know whether he is definite yet. Maybe he and his Dad, Jim, will both come.
 
Planing on being there probably on Saturday, but also a possibility on Friday instead, if I can get work issues worked out...Possible that my dad will come also...Again, weather permitting, Friday or Saturday possible--probable...

We're coming but SuperMouse is staying at home. We found airfares to BNA that were a wash with gas and with schedule being tight and spring weather iffy we went for the sure thing, plus it translates into a day less vacation. Also SuperMouse is up for annual and I am out of town the following week so it's a great window to drop her off and get her done.

We're actually in Thursday night so will probably come down after lunch Friday and will make both dinners and the lunch.

New update on our arrival, My dad said that there is a young man (about 12) who loves to fly and likes seeing new things. This young man, is Thomas, whom some of you have met. Anyway, this young man is in school on Friday, so he said that it is possible that he'll accompany us on Saturday. So, weather permitting, and of course, WINDS at altitude ( don't want to see 35kt ground speeds this year < fingers crossed>), we're planning on being there Saturday morning, with a late afternoon departure...Again, weather and WINDS will be the deciding factors.....Hope to see alot of you there, and will update as the week progresses...

As far as rooms and meals reservations, everyone has to make their own. Mark, I'm not sure we can get you in on the distillery tour, the lunch at Miss Bobo's, etc. if you did not contact the museum and make your reservations and remit your fees. If you did not, maybe there'll be an opening due to someone not showing up. I know there will be one opening because my wife has been forced by work to drop out.
