Beechcraft Heritage Museum addition

Flight Levels
For those that didn't make it to BAC Fest 2007 we have news. The Beechcraft Heritage Museum is expanding with a "baby Beech". A Musketeer will be arriving this Winter for prep to add to the floor space in Spring. The goal is to have her ready and on the floor by April's annual board meeting. Speaking of the Board, BHM has added two new members. Our own Brad and Mike will be new voting members on the Museum Board.

All those living near Tullahoma, TN that want to help out in the restoration, please let me know and I will get your contact information to the right people. The BHM Annual Board meeting is April 17th. We would like to have a big gathering of BAC members that weekend, April 18th-20th, for a welcome part for a "baby Beech". Details will be posted at a later date. We know there will be a tour of Jack Daniel's Whiskey plant along with much more. For those that have never been to the museum you can check out the information at http://www.beechcraftheritagemuseum.org/.

Thanks,
Doug

I have toured the Distillery several times, in the far distant past. It is well worth the time! But the best that I can recall it is located in a dry county, so no free samples, boo.

I hope we have a good turnout for this event.

This is a BIG DEAL for BAC.

I just called the Hampton Inn to make a reservation. They have a $99 rate for BHM/BAC but I inquired about the cancellation policy and it's 30 days.

So you may be better off getting the $104 internet rate which has a cancel by 4 pm cancellation policy.

I stay at lots of Hampton Inns on business, and they will give you a 10% discount if you are a member of either AAA or AARP, and you can get it on-line, with no cancellation limits.

We have reservations at the Jameson Inn and plan to fly in from Salt Lake. Hope to see a lot of BACer's there!

Steve,

Looking forward to seeing you.

I'll send you the password to get across the Mason-Dixon line in an encrypted message.

We're still mulling over whether you get to set foot in the Jack Daniels distillery. That's sacred Southern ground.

I promise not to attempt smuggling maple syrup to TN. Although there are enough former Yankees down there that I could make a killing!

Can I wear my "I'm With Cump" shirt? (And I'll let y'all figure that one out.)

Just got a offer from John Wood that we should share the ride. We'll bring our carpet bags.

Hey this is shaping up! We're up to seven attendees. Please be sure to let the good folks at the Museum know that you'll be there so they can get the meal counts finalized.

I think the term used for "former Yankees" in TN is Damn Yankees!

Can I wear my "I'm With Cump" shirt? (And I'll let y'all figure that one out.)

As long as I can wear my "I'm with the NERD" shirt

Add me to the list of likely attendees!

I just tried to book online at the Hampton Inn and came up empty.

I called the Jameson Inn and got a room for the AAA rate of $72.99.

The lady that answered didn't know anything about a special rate for BHM.

Count us in, weather permitting. I have a sister just up in Brentwood about 70 miles away. Can't wait to see everybody again!!!

Take care,
Mark & Candy Gooderum

We're up to eleven planes and fifteen people if we all make it! So far so good!

It would be great to get up to 20 planes! Come on folks, a great time will be had and you can earn PT points!
