BAC To BAF "Post Tax Denial Fly-In"

Well, I give up. I am officially pulling the plug on the BAF Fly-In. The ceiling has not gotten any better and reports from as far as Boston and Long Island are not any better. Better luck next time.
With our friends from Texas on hand we can call this a success. However it really is not safe for others to try to fly in and the drive in, at this hour, would not be too satisfying.

So fear not, friends, we will pull another one off. And anyone who has ever thought of hosting an event...call me or Paul Shuch. We'll help you pull it off. Even if I have to stay home to keep the weather under control! :D

OK, Bo and Sandra Boggs have escaped the Cote Weather Curse. They are on their way home. D'ya think western Pennsylvania is far enough not to get trapped again?

Thanks for the visit, guys. Sorry the weather was so bad. It was great getting together.
For everyone else, this just points up the fact that a Fly-In is easy. As long as one other member shows up you can have a good time. So don't sweat it...just plan it!
If you think you are interested in hosting an event, get in touch with your Region Director (Use the Contact Us button on the toolbar.) If you don't know your RD, call one of the Officers: Chris Linderman, Brad Mitchell, or me, Steve Cote.

Well, the "go Everywhere Mouse" is back in its nest at Aero country. Once we got west of the Hudson, we were able to make the rest of the trip at 4500' in sometimes mild to moderate turbulence.
We spent Monday night at Goergetown, KY, but the MItchells were both busy so we didn;t get to see them.
I dropped Sandra off at Tyler so she could go to the visitation and I will drive over this morning to attend the funeral.

Total trip was 29.9 hours on the Hobbes from T31 to T31. We did get to Kitty Hawk and Williamsburg and spent several hours with Gary and Mary. I know that Steve and Denni were getting a little tired of us by Sunday evening, but they were good hosts and company in the miserable weather.

Ill get the pics downloaded this evening and see what we have.
