Thank you all for your support, congratulations, and advice. I do feel lucky and privledged to be amoung such an esteemed group, and one of the few. Not until I started my training did I realize just how few of us there are supporting GA. Most of my fellow students have gone on to Lockeed, Boeing, or Stevens. All of them support the higher end aircraft.
It was a very long 2 and a half years, of fun, studies, and a few moments of "what are they trying to show me, and so that's how it works". I must give alot of credit to my wife, Jeanne, for supporting me even when I was to tired to even want to go, for standing in with the normal chores that I normally would have done, for all the missed dinners, coming in at late hours, not being around to watch TV and Movies with her, and putting up with me when I was wiped out. So, she also deserves alot of Praise. These certifications are as much hers as they are mine.
I must also credit Mike R, and Chad for being awesome mentors, teachers and above all else great friends. I would have made it nonetheless, however, they brought my knowledge and skill level to a higher level of understanding, and made some of the subjects much more enjoyable and easier. Again, thank you both very much for your support and patience.
And yes Sciscoe, as you so eleqently put it, I am very aware of the seriousness and reprecussions of my responsibilites, and will do as you pointed out. And I will do my utmost to make all of you proud, and earn the respect of all aviatiors and plane owners that I meet and whose aircraft I work on by being knowledgable, dilegent and uncomprimising in the name of safety. I will strive to perform my duites to provide the best quality workmanship, and insure that your aircraft are as safe as humanly possible. I will work and be dedicated to providing superior service and do the best I can, and if there is something I am uncomfortable with, I will seek the advice of someone more skilled, experienced and knowledgeable than I, and if I can not honestly do what is needed to be done by the task being beyond my abilites, I will make it a point to refer you to someone who can do the work, and that you can trust to do it right.
Thank you all again, and am looking forward to even more discussions in the future. I truely believe that I have chosen a profession which above all else is a passion and a calling...not just another job.
