BAC Fest Preview - fly-in to Gulf Shores (JKA) on September 8 - POSTPONED

I just posted a fly-in to Gulf Shores (JKA) for Saturday, September 8. Doug Muse and I want to make a preliminary visit to the FBO to check out their facilities and make some arrangements for the Sierra landing gear clinic. We thought we'd grab lunch at Lulu's (Jimmy Buffet's sister) while we're there. It's a short walk from JKA and there's a good chance the FBO will lend us a courtesy car. Come join us.

Due to the flooding damages in the area we have decided to reschedule this event. It may not happen until BACFest. Isaac left a lot of area flooded so the airport, Cloyd, and others are still dealing with that.

I don't think JKA had any flooding issues but they are doing some cleanup.

My airport was/is flooded although the water is receding.

But as Doug said the pre-view event is postponed indefinitely.

BAC Fest is still on.

You are to be commended for the lengths you go to for this club. At Myrtle Beach, you provided Minnie for dissection, and now you arrange that storm just so that our distinguished guest A&P has a suitable candidate for the Sierra Landing Gear Clinic.

Myrtle Beach was the sequel. Minnie made her maintenance clinic video debut at BAC Fest I at the Beech factory. Chris may still have copies of the original CD. For a king's ransome I can get you an autographed copy. You can even watch me change Minnie's oil.
