Power Flow will have their Sundowner there with the Powerflow Exhaust System and wheel pants.

BAC Annual Meeting and Dinner Friday Evening

Saturday will be a day to be on your own and enjoy some of the things that Wichita has to offer. That Morning, Powerflow will be flying their Sundowner. Vendors will still be available for orders More time to view AEC exhibit. The Beaumont hotel is just a short jaunt away, this snip taken from the Be a Pilot website – Places Pilots know.
Land on Beaumont’s adjacent grass airfield and taxi the plane right into town! Then pull up to the Beaumont Hotel, a pilot favorite for decades. It’s open again.

This is the place for a real fly-in breakfast or lunch!
Beaumont is a real Kansas Flint Hills “tank town,” testament to which is the AT&SF water tank still standing from the day when The Santa Fe’s steam engines needed to re-water every 100 miles.

It’s just a half-hour or so east of Wichita

When we have the reservation site available there will be more information on car rental for those who want to rent a car while they are here.

Our Host Hotel for this event is the Wichita Mariott. They have give us some great rates for our event. Normal corporate rates are $144 - $154 per night. We have negotiated a special rate of $86 per night for either single or double room. Hotel reservations need to be made separate from the online reservations for the event. Reservations can be made over the phone or online now at:
1-800-610-0673 the best time to call is between 8 AM and 7PM Central time. If you are routed to the National Mariott Reservation Center, which shouldn’t happen between these hours but might, tell them that you need to talk to someone on premises to make sure you get the good rate.
The better way to register is online at www.mariott.com/ictwe . Select the dates and enter the group code BACBACA to receive the discounted room rate.

Registration fees for BAC Fest 2006 will be:
For reservations received before August 1, 2006 - $25.00 for BAC members and any one else coming in that member’s plane.
The cost for non BAC members and for BAC Members registering after August 1 will be $40.00.

Watch your e-mail and the website for further updates.

If you have questions send me an e-mail at dbuttram@aol.com and I will try and answer them.

To clairfy a question that came up. The registration fee for BAC Fest 2006 includes the Friday evening Dinner.

I've got my reservation in for the Marriot - the discount code works just as advertised on the web site. Exact timing is somewhat fuzzy for me but if anyone is going from MN/WI/IA/Eastern Dakotas area it would be fun to coordinate a group flight and/or rides if someone doesn't want to or can't fly. Private message me and I'll give you my email.

Reservations are done and it worked like a charm. We plan to arrive on Thursday and stay the entire time. Hopefully the weather will allow us to fly the Sierra. We're coming over from Salt Lake City and we're really looking forward to meeting all of you!

See you there!
