Climbing to Cruise
Flew to POU (Dutchess County, NY) yesterday & got their Hudson Valley Leaf Peeper discount that will be going on next weekend also - fuel for $5.64/gal.

They also gave is a coupon for 15% off the restaurant across the street; but it doesn't open until 1 PM & we were too early. Ended up just going over to Sky Acres (44N) & let them feed me there.

That's where I learned to fly... Pretty good price for gas - Kobelt is also a good place to fuel up... The owner of Kobelt has some crazy money so he isn't looking to make money from fuel sales - someone mentioned he tacks like a dime on to whatever he pays for it... For some reason my home airport - KMSV - chooses to sell fuel at like a buck more than everyone else - hence I have yet to fuel there... I haven't landed at KPOU in a while - maybe I'll have to stop in and try the restaurant - as someone else mentioned it was pretty good as well..
