Auburn Fly In - October 26, 2024 - KAUN

Southwest Region Members - check your calendars and see if you can join us for lunch at the Auburn, California airport at noon on Saturday October 26. This location should be close for most of our Northern California and Northern Nevada members. And its been a while since we've had an event, so this would be a good opportunity to meet and socialize before the end of 2024.

I plan to be there by 11:00 so I can watch for members as they arrive. Let us know if you plan to come.

Just a reminder for the Southwest Region - the weather looks good for the Auburn California (KAUN) Fly-In for lunch on Saturday October 26. I've heard from a few members via email. We have three so far coming. Anyone else?
 
Report on the Auburn Fly-In October 26: We had two Sundowners and four pilots arrive for brunch. Attendees were Doug Faucette, Dan Jonas, Sandy Munns and visitor student pilot Liz. The weather was about as good as it gets for this time of year with temps in the mid-70 range. The Wings Grill and Flightline has tables inside and outside - we were outside able to watch activity on the airport while we enjoyed the fine food. All in all, a great time swapping stories and talking about our aircraft and flying in general.
